2010/11 NBA

Tiago Splitter, the Spurs 28th overall draft selection in 2007, is finally donning the Spurs silver and black. Splitter is expected to start at center with Tim Duncan at the 4 spot, Richard Jefferson at the 3 and Manu Ginobili at the 2-guard position. Of course, Tony Parker will again lead the team. The team is also stocked with Spurs reserves and, seemingly has a solid second group. George Hill will come off the bench at point, Gary Neal at the 2, Matt Bonner at the 3 position, Antonio McDyess backing up Duncan and DeJuan Blair coming off the bench at center.

This year’s draft selections went to Oklahoma State G James Anderson (20th overall selection) and Ryan Richards, a big center from England who last played in Switzerland. The Spurs brass is hoping to develop him into a solid power forward/center that will be able to replace Tim once he retires.

What will happen in the playoffs is anybody’s guess but you won’t know unless you go! So be sure to get your Spurs Playoff Tickets and cheer your Spurs to another Championship run!
